Weekly what:nots...

Yippee it's Friday! I hope your week went well - ours was the usual blur of activities. What are you up to for the weekend? The boys and I are madly getting organised for their school camp, plus we are helping a friend plant out garden beds on Sunday (perfectly coinciding with 350.org's 10/10/10). I hope you have fun in your neck of the woods - here's what:nots for the week...
I have to admit I am somewhat obsessed by Patric Shaw's black + white images.
Yennie's lovely The Bear is the Forest illustration, inspired by Finnish folklore.
Loving Dsquared²'s Spring 2011 collection.
The timeless Regent Clutch from Asprey (just don't look at the price!)
Judith Binney's wonderful book on Te Urewera. The Ureweras are one of New Zealand's most mystical and unspoilt areas.
A fab eel skin cuff from Pratten.
J Crew's downtown skinny jeans - the most flattering and comfortable jeans yet. Seriously these are the.best.thing!
Love Miss B's Ocean Diamonds (via Elephantine).
The sweetest owl card by Sanna Annukka found on My Owl Barn.
And a lovely country drive-way I've had tucked away for years (I think it may been from Vogue Living...)

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Weekly what:nots (on a Monday)...

Well, well, well! Our weekend got off to a grand start. Friday night we went here (yum), Saturday it was scrummy pancakes for breakfast, and the Fall Festival in the afternoon, then R left for a week in NZ. Sunday morning the boys and I joined a friend and strolled her 'hood looking for garden inspiration, then slowly but surely things dissolved into utter chaos and anarchy! However, today is a new day and things are finally back in order. I hope you had a lovely weekend, and that your week is off to a good start. Here's last week's what:nots...

Dante Terzigni's colourful little birds.

Chopin's wonderful prelude No. 15 Raindrop.

Pale + pretty blooms found on Design*Sponge.

Weekly what:nots...

What are your plans for the weekend? We're relaxing and catching up on all Turtle & Mu's camp news. Whatever your plans I hope you have fun - here's what:nots for this week.

An achingly beautiful portrait by Patric Shaw.

This coat + tee + scarf + jeans = a perfect weekend outfit for Fall.

Wind and Crepe Myrtle Concerto by Alma Thomas. And it's a super short what:nots this week - but before I go - here is something that is hugely worthwhile:

An "award winning market-place" where you can give and volunteer to worthy projects all over the world. As Gandhi said "Be the change you want to see in the world".

Have a fun weekend!
