Time for traveling

It's been a while. A long while. Earlier this month we went on holiday in the south island. It was amazing - we all had the most wonderful time. Wanaka was beautiful.....

And Nelson was even better. It was so warm Mu & Turtle swam.....

R has been away the past two weeks, and I have been madly tidying up the house and garden for the house sitters. We're off to the States next Wednesday for five weeks. How very very exciting! Mu & Turtle are super excited.

R gets home tomorrow - it will be nice to a whole family again. Until then....

Sorting things out....

I planned to spend this evening sorting things out, and organising this blog. But it has not happened. And now it's late and Turtle's light needs to go out. R is stuck in LA so I'm on bedtime cuddles and stories. Poor Turtle - R's so much better at stories.

I love, love, love this quote - it is such a humbling reminder. I've just spent the night with Turtle & Mu at my Dad's. Yay it is so good to get outta town and have a change of scene. I plan to spend time this evening sorting out this blog, and becoming more organised about posting. More then.

Am loving Gwyneth's GOOP email - on parenting. How true. R is at TED and it is having a profound impact on him. To hear about it - it gives me hope about a better future. It's so heartening to know that there are truly amazing people out there working to make the world a better place. Oh how I'd love to go....

It's been weeks - I have so much to share. Here's the most gorgeous house I found the for sale section of the newspaper. Just love that chandelier!

I have more to show and hope to get it up this evening..... All going according to plan.
