Yippee - we are off to New York at the end of this month! I know I mentioned this below but stellar news of this sort deserves it own post - don't you think? And I am getting just a little bit panicky about where.to.stay! Ideally we'd
like to rent an apartment or a condo - more space than a hotel and better with kids, but a great hotel would be good as well. Soooo if anyone has any recommendations I'd love to hear from you. And it goes with out saying recommendations of where to go, where to eat, where to shop, are just as welcome. Hmmm.... I wonder what's going
to happen with the spending hiatus?

OK, so I'm not from New York and I've only been there a handful of times, but I do have a few suggestions (that are on my to do list!).
ReplyDeleteHit the Brooklyn Flea Market. there are tons of goodies and treats to nibble while you're there. It looks amazing. (http://www.brooklynflea.com/)
If you can, try to stop at Momofuku Bakery & Milk Bar. I have heard nothing but amazing things about this place -- and two treats that are to die for, the Crack Pie and Compost Cookie - are supposedly worth the trip. (http://www.momofuku.com/milkbar/default.asp)
And, of course, Serendipity (http://www.serendipity3.com/main.htm) Mmmmm....
