Happy Monday eve! I hope your week is off to a stellar start. Spring is slowing springing here in Portland - fingers and toes crossed it continues. Two things have touched a cord with me this past week - the first this article in the NY Times. And the second was this moving video (thank you Lisa). It got me thinking about age and how we see ourselves, how there is still so much life to be lived. Could it be that perhaps the best years are to come, that the later years are the ones where one feels completely at ease with oneself and where one fits in life... The more I think of this, the more I like it... Have a lovely week. Annie x

Crikey - Monday already?! How'd that happen... I hope you had a jolly weekend. Ours passed by in a tranquil blur of quietness. R, the boys and I watched Senna - really quite a moving documentary. We woke to snow flurries this morning  - all very pretty, but I'm beginning to think spring is somewhat overdue... Anyhoo here's to a good week ahead!

A house + some apricots...

Located in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, is a 103 year old villa surrounded by four acres of mature gardens, which in turn is surrounded by six acres of apricot orchard. And the super, mind-blowingly exciting part of it all is that it is now ours! I still can't quite believe it. Beyond exciting! And while work commitments mean we'll be in the US for the rest of this year, come January next year we'll be back in New Zealand and living here full-time - woohoo!!

Almost there...

...the boys and I arrived home on Saturday, and we're slowly catching up. A dusting of snow this morning, but signs of spring poking through...I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I'll be back later in the week with what:nots, and (hopefully) some exciting news.
