What:nots...

Crikey - Monday already?! How'd that happen... I hope you had a jolly weekend. Ours passed by in a tranquil blur of quietness. R, the boys and I watched Senna - really quite a moving documentary. We woke to snow flurries this morning  - all very pretty, but I'm beginning to think spring is somewhat overdue... Anyhoo here's to a good week ahead!
Elegant and feminine found via Aubrey Road.

Great pic of the really quite lovely Princess Anne at Royal Ascot 1969.

Whilst they're not quite awakening me, the birdsong is increasing - despite the snow.

Have you heard of, or been to, Petersham Nurseries? It looks incredible...
Hop over here to have a peep.

Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti's elegant and very pretty dresses for spring 2012.

Grown - an organic alchemist of Australian-made skin care.

Utterly beautiful antique shawls found here.

So much to covet with Madewell's Passenger Clutch.

Perfect and timeless one-piece from J Crew.

Weekly what:nots...

Hello! Life has settled down (well, just a bit) and I'm almost on top of things. In the good news department we have found a wonderful school for the boys (hooray!), and planning for our epic adventure is just about complete. The boys' play was a resounding success, and summer has finally arrived in Portland (even if today is rather grey). Thank you for hanging in there in my absence, and for your kind comments - they make me smile. Here's a long overdue what:nots - enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Another beautiful image from Shine By Three.

The perfectly pretty 'Suri' summer top
(the link for which I have lost! If by chance you recognise it please let me know).

Absolutely loving these bracelets from wsake.

Neëst's clever (and cute) little kitchen gadget.

The versatile Jane dress from J Crew.

I'm somewhat obsessed by these Ben Seibel bookends.

James Westwater's Wall Installations (found via Seesaw).

A quote from Margaret Atwood's Looking in a Mirror from The Journals of Susanna Moodie (found via Field & Sea).

And to end with, a cutting from one of the delights of our new garden - an ancient  lilac tree.

No plans for today...

Loving these two pieces by Ky Anderson, from the show No Plans for Today. I discovered Ky's work via the 'Collection of Loveliness' that is Field & Sea - well worth a stop for a dose of 'loveliness'.
