Monday, monday...
I hope your week is off to a good start - after oversleeping by an hour (major alarm failure!) I'm almost back on track...almost. So in an attempt to soothe my frayed nerves I've been poking about online art galleries, and found these wonderful pieces by Natchez Hudson. They're part of his Zero Sum show on at Bowen Galleries - to see more hop on over here.

Hello week...
How was your weekend? Ours was sublime with utterly perfect summer weather. Thanks to a nice young man at the Apple Store my laptop, and mouse are now working properly. Technology don't you love it when it works, and condemn it when it doesn't! The boys and I are once again "just-three" with R currently somewhere in southern Colorado taking part in this! Seriously why drive or fly when you can cycle? Madness I say, but if one is going to have a vice....well let's just say it could be a lot worse. Right best get on. We have the end of year class picnic this evening, and I need to prepare our contribution. A task fraught with stress due to real (or perceived) Mummy-one-upmanship over what your contribution says about your home life and your overall approach to child-rearing ;) I hope your week is off a to a grand start. Have fun!
ps: one of my all-time favourite things is sunlight glistening on water. It gives me such a feeling of inner-peace-and-joy. To me it is perfection.

A May Monday...
How was your weekend? Ours was nice in every sense of the word. A lazy start then R's scrummy pancakes followed by wandering the NW and Pearl with two alarmingly-fast growing boys. How children can literally grow overnight astounds me! Oooh and we watched a fantastic movie - An Education. It was brilliant and extremely well cast - Carey Mulligan was utterly gorgeous. Sunday saw us all feeling a bit blah with colds, but I did duck out to Crafty Wonderland. And sure enough it was a true wonderland of all that Portland crafters have to offer. How about you - what did you get up to?

Monday, Monday...
How was your weekend? Ours was fun, we baked cinnamon swirl and jam drop cookies, enjoyed Portland's lovely spring weather and pottered about. I also spent loads of time researching and panicking about where.to.stay.in.New York - yikes! Today is a gloriously sunny spring day, with blossom and magnolia trees bursting forth so I'm off to enjoy some sunshine. Happy Monday!Photo by me.

Monday, Monday...
A quiet day spent catching up on the weekend. My hyacinth bulbs have finally dried out and become ugly and beautiful at the same time. And the first sign of a distant spring - my daphne have just started to bloom...
